The most famous brothers in video games are getting the Modern War treatment by Beat Down Boogie, the team behind the YouTube mini-series Metal War Gear Solid. The first episode of the new Mario Warfare mini-series was released yesterday and delivers 11 minutes of Toad kicking more ass than he's done in all of the past 25 years of his existence combined.

WTF: THE NOT SO HUMBLE THQ BUNDLE

When you think of the Humble Bundle what do you think of? For me it's indie games by lesser known developers that can be purchased for as little as a penny. What I don't think of is giant purple dildo bats to club people to death with in games made by giant developers. But with the most recent Humble Bundle filled with THQ games, we've reached a moment where the platform might be a bit too big for it's own good. The bundle has lost it's humble.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM HEET!

I know it's been a spooky two weeks with out any news from the HEET team but we've been preparing something pretty special. The future of Half Empty Energy Tank has been uncertain for the past few months as we try different things. The experiment isn't ending anytime soon but we're going to focus more on features and less on headlines from here on out. In the next couple of weeks you can expect a lot of changes and we hope your ready for the ride!

Wii U ADDS UNITY SUPPORT

While it may not seem like a big deal, signing up Unity for Wii U is a giant step forward for the publisher. How do you get more 3rd party developers? Allow more tools that they already know to develop more games.

In the agreement, Nintendo is allowed to "distribute the Unity development platform to its in-house, external, and third party licensee developers," while developers who use the engine should be able to bring their new and existing games to the Wii U audience.

The plan is to have the Wii U add on deployed to Unity's 1.2 million licensers by next year. Nintendo and Unity are working together to make that happen ASAP.
